Insurances Accepted at Nasseri Clinic of Arthritic & Rheumatic Diseases in Maryland

HEALTH PLANS

Medical services are provided and billed by Nasseri Clinic. Our providers participate in most of the major health insurance plans in the region. This includes Medicare, Medicaid, HMO Plans, PPO Plans, POS Plans, and MCO Plans.

If we don’t participate with your insurance, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf and you will be responsible for the services provided. However, we are able to provide you with a form that you may submit to your insurance company which instructs them to send reimbursements directly to you.

Please be aware that with any health plan, there may be deductibles, coinsurances and copayments for which you may be responsible.

If you do not have insurance coverage and wish to be seen, we will gladly see you. However, you will be required to pay an upfront base fee. If the total charge is more than the base fee, you will be billed for the balance.

You will only receive a bill from Nasseri Clinic if there is any patient responsibility.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

Generally, it takes from 30 to 45 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.​

I received a notice that my insurance company has paid my bill — but I can’t understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we’ll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.
